Bill Barrett |
A native of Carmel, New York, a small town more than an hour north of New York City, Bill Barrett began his real estate career as a young man working within the family real estate brokerage, Perigee Properties, Inc., and the family property management company, Barrett Properties, Inc. Bill spent many memorable summers boating in Mystic, Connecticut where his passion for boating would begin. He attended college in Providence, Rhode Island to be close to the fishing and cruising waters of Rhode Island and Connecticut that he enjoyed so much. While a college student, Bill worked as a Licensed Real Estate Associate with J.W. Riker Realty in Providence, Rhode Island. After studying finance at Providence College, Bill moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and began his first brokerage specializing in Exclusive Buyer Agency--Buyers Realty of Florida.
In 1996, Bill reformulated his business model and launched Luxury Home Consultants, an Exclusive Buyer's Brokerage that caters to Buyers of residential real estate in the South Florida luxury real estate market. In 2002, Bill opened his west coast office location in Naples, Florida. With this addition, the entirety of southeast and southwest Florida became service areas for his skilled team.

Bill is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Florida; a Licensed Mortgage Broker; a member of the Employee Relocation Council; a member of the Realtor Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale; a member of the Naples Area Board of Realtors; a member of the Florida Association of Realtors; a member of the National Association of Realtors; a member of the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents; a member of the Real Estate Buyers Agent Council and a holder of both the prestigious "Accredited Buyer's Representative" and the "Accredited Buyer's Representative Manager" Designations from the Real Estate Buyers Agent Council.
As a Flotilla Staff Officer and a Coast Guard Certified Vessel Examiner with Flotilla 3-8 of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, Bill has an opportunity to enjoy his maritime addictions and give back to the boating community in a meaningful way. Additionally, Bill holds a 100-ton Master captains ticket with a Commercial Towing Endorsement from the United States Coast Guard. Bill also works throughout the year to support and promote the Coast Guard Foundation and United States Coast Guard Units throughout all of South Florida and the Caribbean.

He is considered an expert in the field of employee relocation and has represented employees from numerous Fortune 500 companies as well as countless small private firms. His client dossier is a veritable "who's who" of celebrities, professional athletes, actors, actresses, famous musicians, and Fortune 500 executives. With over 1300 buyer client transactions and over a half billion dollars worth of closed property transactions, Bill is considered by many to be the Exclusive Buyer Agent of Choice in the Miami/Dade, Greater Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, and Naples real estate markets.
